Krsna, slayer of demons,[1] Your flute
Once awakened dormant consciousness
To sweet thoughts, sweet expressions,
Sweet penchants, and sweet practices.
Since then, so many years[2] have passed;
The mental Jamuna[3] has run dry.
You have not come; Your flute has not sounded—
Its tune has not stirred heaven and earth.
The completion of Your unfinished work
Will we do remembering You.

Toward the end of 1977, at one meeting I had with Baba in jail, we talked a bit about Krsna. At that time, Baba indicated that Krsna did not complete his duty. Baba then said that he would not leave this world without bringing sufficient change in every sphere of human existence.
