You've been filling the earth and heaven;
You even reside in a blink of the eye.
To search for You is not to retire
To some holy river, ocean, or mountain.
Making Your place in a niche of mind,
My spirit You have brightened.
Asti, bháti, and ánanda[1] given,
They are flooding me with delight.
We cannot think of aught but You,
Your thought haunts us in front and behind.
Those who'd go somewhere, be they low or high,
Forget distinctions; they prove untrue.[2]
