(1018) Tumi eso mor mandire
Lord, enter my place of worship;
In each age a temple I've built
For the sake of Your arrival.
I have raised an altar by dint of heart's yearning
That You may take Your ease after doing myriad deeds.
The path of Your coming I am watching endlessly,
With my mental lyre jingling.
Having brought much color, gone are many springtimes;
And many stars have fallen, dressed in golden light.
But still upon that avenue, You did not arrive.

We may construct shrines, but we can only pray that He arrive.
