Read my mind

(1799)  Amar hiyay jata vyatha

In my heart whatever agony,
Only You understand, only You perceive.
Myself never speaking, Master Supreme,
Without ears everything You hear.

Due to You, the estrangement of me,
That pain is in mind constantly.
Everything You fathom, hey Bearer of Psyche;
You calculate the day for a time befitting.

However much vocally I remain calling,
So much in the mind far-remote I keep.
At abode of feeling, trickery does not succeed;
That, even I and also You concede.

  1. Lip service is of no avail. There's no use to speak when You can gauge true desire.
