The fire that You lit and left
Upon the heaped darkness,
It's a comet softened by flaming wreath,
From one time to other ages.
That fire, on all quarters got beset;
It heeded not prohibition, limited or limitless.
Resplendent and immense, its crest blazing
Spread to every inner self.
A sacrificial fire's bosom belches conflagration,
To ashes it burns vice's inner core.
Defeated is the wickedness on which a demon dances;
That property, promptly it dismisses.
