Hail to the king

(102)  Ashoke palashe nava ullase

Among the ashoka and palash trees, in fresh jubilation,
The king of seasons comes today.

On the vernal breeze, in a ceaseless dream,
Flower pollen wafts.

He has come with the fragrance of blossoms,
All disseminating sweetness.
Throughout the universe, in warm air,
The lamp of life is lit.

With a flash of color by Your majesty,
The earth is flooded with joy.
