At onset of the rain, by my life's ecstasy,
I proclaim reverent salutation to Thee.
With my existence always welcoming,
In a mite's thinking, You are replete.
You have given dwelling place, You gave food and water;
You have given light-rays, You gave fruit and flowers;
You have given air and shade, cool and agreeable;
You've given pity, gratifying.
You have given fire at late night wintry;
You gave a sweet scent in floral company.
You gave intellect and strength to fight the enemy;
What did You not give, Lord, graciously!
I've forgot the way, by the worldly I've been crazed;
You have forgiven me frequently.

Always You take me on Your lap and wipe my tears away.
