When it had bloomed, the golden lotus of blue sea,[1]
Who perceives?
Amid blue ocean's bosom, with the light's festivity,
In a song of sweet amity...
Having lifted face underneath the rays of morning,
In the wind it was swaying like a dangling earring.
To present a scent honeyed it was not forgetting,
From just the wine of love and a life cadence-replete.
Suddenly, that one fairy,
Catching it, off she carried.
No taboo did she heed;
All pain's while totally mute, in privacy.

Had the lotus of gold gone willingly, we just don't know.
