Unraveling Your mystery

(3777) Jeo na jeo na priya mor

Don't leave, don't go, my Beloved,
When You came to my dwelling.
The whole night for sake of Thee,
On gate I have placed a rice painting.

I have plucked the smiling parul;
Within wreath I've inserted bakul.
Having kept mango-blossom upon urn,
At path's edge seated had I been.

The psychic ocean through string of waves,
Having mused on You, dancing it promenades.
Mind's peacock, at the sky does it gaze;
A dark cloud in order to see.

  1. When You came I could not think, engaged in mere formalities. It's too soon for You to leave.
