You are the Light of God, I am a glowworm's ray;
As to my capacity, what words do I say in Your company?
You are the Brahma Kamal, I am filthy straw;
Dyed am I; about Your hue what do You speak?
When into mind You come, myself You love;
You smile gently in the kadam arbor.
Forgetting my penury, I drift in a thought-stream,
With diverse colors on an existential beach.
When You remain hidden, don't You open orbs?
Though having called a hundredfold, no reply do You accord.
In jeopardy, without a shore I float on the eyes' tears;
Having looked, I see You laugh atop a mountain peak.

In my mind You still care, but what is the reality?
