To ignorance and vice on night of fog,
With quiet feet You had come;
Hence unknown You went on staying evermore.
The night had been darkness-covered;
On my eyes had been sleep's drunkenness.
That darkness, both birthless and endless,
You rendered bright with own mind's color.
Through footsteps with anklets lustrous,
Bit by bit a resonance had risen up.
Deep at heart's core came sensation;
You are seen smiling, though hidden gone.
