You don't quite tread on me

(3784) Tumi esecho man niyecho

You have come, and mind You've taken;
Why paid You no mind to me?
You've held dear, and You have spoken
With red lips, fondness replete.

In You, my Longtime Friend, is sweetness universal;
You are deeds of compassion, a sea of nectar.
A drop of sandal-paste in hot blaze of disturbance,
I was unable to bind Thee.

Having longed for the dawn's crimson color
Mid love's casket honey-logged,
You are full, and I but vacuous;
Nonetheless, You have kept above feet.
