Only so much one can do

(3688) Tumi eso amar ghare priya

Beloved, do come to my residence;
Having opened door, I sit waiting.
I have lit a torch, I've strung a wreath;
An altar, I have kept it neat.

I've no one to call my own;
Private thoughts, which do I make known?
So in plenty and in need, I want You alone;
A load of love, poured I've let be.

Hey, the ever-sweet One nearest,
Stay with me in life, in death.
In heat like cremation, with cow-milk as offset,
A flower-bud I've kept replete.
